Welcome, this is a replacement for the Twitch Hosting feature designed and programmed specifically for the Trihex community. Here's some FAQ about the website before you get started.
Q: What are the different tabs at the top for?
A: The buttons are for which stream you wish to view.
The following buttons on the right side of the screen are for which chat you're currently viewing. GDQ, Trihex, and Poverty.
Q: What are the different chats for?
A: GDQ Chat is for the actual chat for GDQ. Meaning, you probably won't be able to talk there unless you're a traitor.
Trihex Chat is used mainly for when you want to chat in Trihex stream while he is streaming.
Poverty Chat is the main chat used for your shitposting, GDQ discussion, and for when Trihex is offline.
Q: Why can't I see third party emotes in the chat?
A: Currently, the best way to see third party emotes is by using BTTV and enabling FFZ and 7TV emotes under the settings.
FFZ May work for you. Recently as of SDGQ 2023, FFZ seems to not be working with embedded chats for some people. It will not support 7TV and BTTV even with them enabled in settings.
7TV works differently than FFZ and BTTV when changing emotes in the chat, but integration is currently being researched.
Q: Why do I get ads on the video player even though I am subscribed?
A: With these being embedded, your login session is per embed. Meaning, you need to login to your account on the stream to verify on Twitch's end that you are subscribed.
You can simply click the `Follow` button on the stream and it should prompt you with a login. Once you sign in there, you should be good to go!
Currently, Twitch O-Auth login is being researched so that you just login once on the website for all streams and chats to avoid this issue.
Alternatively, you can look into Twitch Adblock solutions to avoid ads.
